Minister Leo Davis, Jr.
Minister Leo Davis, Jr. was born July 18, 1972 to Leo & Pearlene, Davis. Minister Davis has been a faithful member of the New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church for his entire life. Under the guidance of Dr. B.L. Bell, Rev. Davis has developed into a productive member of the Body of Christ. Minister Davis was ordained a Deacon in April 2001.
He has attended WHW Ministries where he learned word studies and how to support his Pastor. He is a regular attendee at the Frank Ray Conference in Memphis, TN. While serving as a Deacon he was brought on staff as the Director of Church Operations.
This young man literally was the go -to guy at New Pilgrim Rest. While serving as a Deacon, Minister Davis cultivated skills in areas such as serving and teaching. He served faithfully as a Deacon until accepting the call to preach the Gospel. Minister Davis preached his first sermon on April 3, 2011 and continues to grow into the vessel that God has created him to be. He enhanced his skills by enrolling and graduating from 3BC (Billy Bell Bible Institute College Course). He later enrolled in Faith Seminary in Tacoma, WA. in the Bachelor of Theology program.
Minister Adell Miller
Minister Adell Miller was born on April 6, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. I am the fifth of seven children born to the late parentage of Mr. & Mrs. Jessie T. Miller. I attended Dallas Public Schools.
I was married to the late Dorothy for six years. I am the father to one daughter, and stepfather to two daughters and one son. During my lifetime I’ve received training in Heavy Equipment Operation, Building Maintenance, and Computer Maintenance.
I am currently a manager for ACG Texas (IHOP) at the Cedar Hill, Texas store. I was called into the ministry 10 years ago but accepted my calling in August 2011 under the leadership of Dr. Billy L. Bell. I preached my first sermon on November 13, 2011, two months after the home going of my wife and have been diligently working in the ministry ever since. My desire to serve God has been strengthened by completing my theological education through the Billy Bell Biblical Institute College Courses.
My future goals are to continue my Biblical education at Faith Seminary. It is my prayer that Godcontinues to keep me in perfect peace to strengthen my Christian walk. “…, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my
voice.” - Jonah 2:2.
Minister Robert Winters
Minister Robert B. Winters in February 2003 was called to Pleasant Grove MBC. In addition to his ministry, Robert has served the citizens of Dallas as a firefighter for the Dallas Fire Rescue Department for the last 29 years and was appointed by the Chief of the Department to serve as Chaplain in 2004; leaving the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church to serve the members of the fire department and the citizens of Dallas full-time.
He is the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. John V. Winters, who at the time of his death was the Pastor of the St. Luke Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX while attending college; he met his sweetheart for life, Charlotte. After graduation, May 1983, they were married. Robert answered God's call to the ministry, while a member of Friendship-West Baptist Church, in November1998 under the tutelage of Senior Pastor Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III.
Robert was ordained in September 2000, and began pursuing a Master of Theology Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. He and Charlotte are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Tonesha Elizabeth, 27 and Nychelle Dominique, 17.
His civil affiliations are: Dallas Black Firefighters Association, member of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church where Dr. Billy L. Bell, Sr. is the Senior Pastor, he serves as Associate Minister, 3BI Sunday School Instructor, Men’s Class Instructor and Music Ministry.
Minister Anthony McCoy
Anthony McCoy was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana, to the proud parents of Ike and Jessie McCoy, who are both deceased. He has eight brothers and seven sisters. At an early age Anthony accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and grew up learning the importance of cultivating and maintaining a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is a man of God and never hesitates when there’s an opportunity to encourage or pray for anyone. He has devoted himself to serving God and others in his involvement in Church Choirs, Ministry of Helps, Finance Department, Outreach Ministry, and also served as an Usher and Sunday School Teacher. Anthony’s prayers are always to show compassion and love and always putting others first. With God in him, the Holy Spirit guiding him, Jesus Christ walking with him, he knows that he can do whatever the Lord has called him to do and be.
Anthony currently lives in Dallas, Texas, with his beautiful wife Vanessa of eleven years and he is self-employed. Minister McCoy currently serves on the pastoral staff as an instructor for F. U. E. L. (Families Unleashing Enthusiastic Love) on Sunday mornings. His most cherished times are times spent with family. He also enjoys relaxing at home while cooking on his grill.
Minister Raymond Clayborn
Raymond Clayborn is an Associate Minister at the New Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Billy L. Bell. He faithfully serves as teacher of the Sunday Morning Men’s Cave and Tuesday mid-day Bible Study. He is always ready and prepared to teach/ or preach the Word of God.
He began his preaching ministry in July of 1979, at the New Hope Baptist Church, Ft Worth, Texas under the leadership of the late Pastor James W. Smith. He attended various bible colleges, making preparation for the ministry.
His educational background includes, New World Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Theology, Criswell College- Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Arlington Bible College-Biblical Studies, Tarrant County Community College-mid-management.
Raymond Clayborn served as senior Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Royse City, Texas for 23 years. He was a visionary leader who served God, the church and community with a spirit of excellence. Under his pastoral leadership, the vision for a new church facility was accomplished and paid off within 10 years. He later constructed a new state of the art Fellowship Hall and Education Center. He continued his faithful service to the church and community until retirement.
He served in the United States Air force for 4 years, and retired from Lockheed Martin, Ft Worth, after 23 years of service.
Raymond is married to Leola, who has been an educator with DISD for over thirty years. She is a dedicated and committed servant who diligently works with him. She has served in many capacities in the local body of Christ. She is a consecrated vessel unto God
