Grace morning on this terrific and tranquil Tuesday.
Though the enemy can wage war all around you, you will not be a casualty of a battle that has already been won. Don’t look at your circumstances – look at your God! Your financial struggles are not going to be forever. Job situations and serious health issues are still under the sovereignty of God.
When you’re faced with a painful trial, it is easier to believe what you can see than what you can’t see. Yet, it is at your lowest point of struggle that you must lift your eyes in prayer and believe that God is not going to let you be devoured by the enemy of destruction.
Life’s greatest lessons come when we have no choice but to trust in God. Life will present with a time when we have no strength of your own in facing an impossible situation.
Your fear and despair in a trial stem from not understanding or accepting the power of God and his unfailing love for you. Never will his eyes leave you for one second! Why worry about things that Christ already has worked out?
“I tell myself, You can be at peace again, because the Lord has been good to you. You, God, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, and my foot from stumbling, so I’ll walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”
Psalms 116:7-9 CEB
Our weakness comes when we take our eyes off the Source of our power. Jesus does not take cover in the attacks of the enemy. He is our fortress and a very present help to us. The weary can find safety in his shadow and experience peace in his never-ending care and love.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this tremendous Tuesday!
