Grace morning on this seismic and sensational Sunday.
Do you ever have moments when anxiety tries to creep up on you and seize your heart? I’m talking about those times when you are thrown into a state of panic about things that concern you —such as your family, your friendships, your health, or your finances. Very often this state of panic is caused by the mere thought of a problem that doesn’t even exist and is unlikely ever to come to pass. Nevertheless, the mere thought of this non-existent problem troubles you deeply.
Soon you find yourself sinking into such a strong state of worry and anxiety that it literally takes you emotionally hostage!
Anxiety, worry and tension are some of the most destructive forces you can face. They sap your strength and slowly undermine your faith, keeping you from maturing in the Lord.
If you are to continue to grow in your relationship with Christ, you must discover God's plan for freedom from the crippling cycle of stress.
Anxiety, worry and tension occur when you face a situation and choose to rely upon your own strength rather than upon God and His Word. If you are one of many that struggle with removing yourself from the pilot seat, maybe you have forgotten that God can handle any problem.
“Therefore, through him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.”
Hebrews 13:15 CSB
Every day will bring new opportunities to cast your cares upon Him. One of the best ways you can do this is by replacing your worry and tension with prayer and thanksgiving.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this satisfying and superlative Sunday!
