Grace morning on this wonderful and winsome Wednesday.
If you don’t need God to pull off what you are planning, you are not dreaming big enough. In case you are wondering, no, you are not smart enough. No, you don’t have enough experience. and, no, you don’t have enough resources. But with God, all things are possible
No matter how overwhelmed you may feel because of a problem that seems unsolvable, you can choose to believe His promise.
The biggest way we allow problems to defeat us is by leaving God out of the equation. When you focus on the problem and how inadequate you feel to resolve it, you miss the joy of exchanging your weakness for His strength.
We add up our bills for the month and think…I don’t have enough.
We survey our incredibly long to-do list, compare it to our energy supply, and think…I don’t have enough.
We consider the amount of patience it will take to wait on God’s will and think…I don’t have enough.
The little widow of Zarephath didn’t have enough food (1 Kings 17), Gideon didn’t have enough men (Judges 7), Peter didn’t have enough money (Matthew 17), and Joshua didn’t have enough daylight (Joshua 10)…until God entered the equation.
God is greater than your problem.
“Jesus was blunt: “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off by yourself. Every chance in the world if you let God do it.” Mark 10:27 MSG
Don't stare at your problem in dismay. You’re counting the numbers against you. Whatever problem or trial you might be facing, don’t leave God out of the equation. When it’s over, you’ll discover that you had more than enough.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this worry-less Wednesday!
