Grace morning on this tranquil and thankful Tuesday.
God’s strength is far greater than your struggle or the storm you face. The difference between drowning in despair and having dominance over despair, is trusting in God. He knows how and when to lift you up at the right time, to vindicate you, to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, to anoint your head with oil, and to cause your cup to run over—if you humble yourself. Haven’t you ever noticed that when you try to defend yourself against false accusations and the like it typically makes matters worse? When you humble ourself, it may look like the other person got their way, but that’s not reality. God will have the last say.
Only when we truly have an understanding of this, that God can trust us to do great and mighty things for His kingdom. When you know and trust God in all circumstances, you’ll be willing to humble ourself under His mighty hand. When someone wrongs you, or when you are falsely accused, you should humble ourself—not under the offender’s mighty hand but under God’s mighty hand. You should cast the care of injustice on to Him because He cares for you—and He’s a just God.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.”
1 Peter 5:6-7 CSB
Don’t go another day without casting all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns on God.
Where there’s humility there is the Spirit of the Lord. And where the Spirit of the Lord is there is carefree liberty.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this trouble-less Tuesday!
