Grace morning on this thankful and triumphant Thursday.
Feeling stressed? Fearful? Weighed down? You're not alone-Stress, anxiety and worry are something we all struggle with at some point in our lives.
The Bible is clear: you are going to have problems at your job, in your family, with your finances, in your church, and with your health. You can bank on it! Being a Christian does not exempt you from problems. Jesus was up-front with His disciples about the trials they would encounter, “In the world you have tribulation” (John 16:33, NASB).
I love the way the apostle Peter said it, “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you” (1 Peter 4:12). Problems are the price we pay for living in this world. Whenever conflict arises in your life, whether within yourself, with other people, or as the result of adverse circumstances, you have a choice to make. You can respond with worry or anger, or you can allow the peace of Christ to have the final say in your life.
No matter how much sorrow you face, how sad you become or how sick you are ~ just keep trusting in the God who never fails.
“Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.”
Deuteronomy 33:25 KJV
You may face hard days but God gives you strength for the day.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this trouble-less Thursday!
