Grace morning on this marvelous and meaningful Monday.
Are you weak? Stressed? Exhausted? Troubled? Battling depression? Do you need more energy to run this race of life that you’re in? Is your strength depleted? Don’t give in, don’t give up, and don’t give over to the  current problem you’re facing. God can help.
Life can make us weary and challenging… it can deplete us from the strength we need to get out of bed and do the things we are required to do. Yes, we can work out by lifting weights and taking our fitness walk. Those activities can provide us a level of fitness that enable our bodies to function physically, yet we also need additional inner strength to be able to function well. Since our mind, body and spirit are interconnected, how we feel spiritually or emotionally can effect our physical energy level. That’s where God can help.
When we are dependent upon God, when we surrender to him, when we rely on him and ask Christ to live his life through us, we’re actually living by his power and strength. You see, if we try to be strong in our own might, we don’t give God the opportunity to use his strength as he lives through us.
“Thank you! Everything in me says “Thank you!” Angels listen as I sing my thanks. I kneel in worship facing your holy temple and say it again: “Thank you!” Thank you for your love, thank you for your faithfulness; Most holy is your name, most holy is your Word. The moment I called out, you stepped in; you made my life large with strength.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭138:1-3‬ ‭MSG‬‬
God will bless you with what you need as you honor and thank Him for what He has already blessed you with.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this magnificent Monday!

Grace morning on this seismic and sufficient Sunday.
All too often, we easily conclude that we receive blessings when we obtain good things. In most cases, this is true since God is the giver of every “good gift and every perfect gift” (James 1:17). However, it is sad to note that our human nature and our natural tendency is to think of God only when things get rough.
When we enjoy good things, we are easily get side-tracked and forget God. When we are sufficient and lacking nothing, we think that we can make it on our own without the help of God. The enemy will attempt to lure you into thinking that your own power and strength made these blessings possible.
When we have enough food on our table, how easy and insincere we might be in praying “give us this day our daily bread” compared to when we barely have enough to eat and would still worry about our next meal.
This is evident when we as a nation face a calamity. People are urged to pray.
All too often than not, people easily remember God when difficult times are up ahead or is already here.
“Because he will shelter me in his own dwelling during troubling times; he will hide me in a secret place in his own tent; he will set me up high, safe on a rock.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:5‬ ‭CEB‬‬
There is nothing wrong with enjoying God’s blessings. In fact, God wants us to experience the abundance of life. It is through God’s grace, mercy and love that we are sustained. It is only when we develop this kind of thinking that we will truly be blessed.

Grace morning on this splendid and sufficient Saturday.
When you make a full surrender and commitment to God, it is His responsibility to take full and complete care of you in every detail of your life.
There is not an area or detail in your life that God will not be willing to help you out with – no matter how small or trivial you think it may be.
Only God knows what your true potentials are in this life – and He is the only One who can arrange to have those full potentials maximized and realized in this life!
Waiting really bother some people, but this is how God develops the fruit of patience and faith in our personality. You simply have to have full faith, trust, and belief that God now has your life completely in His hands and that He will now bring you the right job, home, relationship, and support at the right time.
And not only does God have a set plan and a set future for your life – but He also has a set timetable in which all of these plans will manifest in your life.
“First pay attention to me, and then relax. Now you can take it easy—you’re in good hands.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭1:33‬ ‭MSG‬‬
When you live each day to its fullest, always strive to do the best at whatever God is leading you to do for Him.
If you can master how to keep this kind of mindset, you will be less likely to throw pity parties when things do not go the way you think they should.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this serene and satisfying Saturday!

Grace morning on this fruitful and fantastic Friday.
When God opens doors in our lives don’t try to close it because of the trials, which is sometimes required. No one can close an open door that God has for you so have confidence in the Lord. If it’s God’s will it will be done, remember He always has a plan. Watch out as well for doors that God closes.
Some doors are not God’s will for you to enter them and God closes it for your protection. God knows everything and He knows if you’re on a path that leads to danger.
When God opens a door He will never cause you to compromise or contradict His Word. Many times God will confirm His will through His Word and through others such as godly counsel.
Usually you know it’s an open door from God when you have to rely on Him. Some people try to do things in the arm of the flesh, but when it’s God’s will we must ask Him to bless the work of our hands.
If God doesn’t make a way there will be no way.
Sometimes the door is a little cracked open and God just wants us to persevere in prayer. When the time is right He will fully open the door.
“For the present, I’m staying right here in Ephesus. A huge door of opportunity for good work has opened up here. (There is also mushrooming opposition.)”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭16:8-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬
When God sees you doing your part, developing what He has given you, then He will do His part and open doors that no man can shut.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this fabulous Friday!

Grace morning on this tranquil and thankful Thursday.
It seems doors of opportunity open and close before us in life. Is it God opening and closing these doors? For many years I’ve heard the saying, “When God shuts one door, He opens another!” Well, no, those exact words are not found in the Bible anywhere.  I haven’t found the original source of the saying, but it sounds similar to a famous quote by Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. He said: “When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”
GOD WILL GUIDE YOU IF YOU’LL TRUST HIM
The God of the Universe is interested in you. He has a plan for you; He has a pathway for you.
Sometimes you can become frustrated because it seems as if doors of opportunity are constantly being closed.
When you are trying to serve God and you encounter a closed door your first question should be, “Did God close this door?” Sometimes other people “close” the door, and sometimes the devil and his demonic forces will try to place obstacles in the way of your service and devotion. So just because you encounter resistance or difficulty, it doesn’t necessarily mean God has shut the door.
“I see what you’ve done. Now see what I’ve done. I’ve opened a door before you that no one can slam shut. You don’t have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn’t deny me when times were rough.”Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭MSG‬‬
If God has clearly sent you in a certain direction and the devil tries to close the door–then knock it down!
Live, love, and laugh your way through this triumphant Thursday!

Grace morning on this winsome Wednesday.
When you are mistreated, a forgiving response demonstrates the love of Christ to your offender.
A key to forgiving your offender is realizing that God can work through your suffering to accomplish His purposes in your life. Ultimately, God is in control. He allows the good and bad things in life, and we can trust Him to work all things together for good in the lives of those who love Him.
If you find yourself in a difficult season right now, find encouragement through this reminder: God will turn it around for good. He is faithful to his word and He will see you through, don’t ever doubt it. You will step out to the other side of your dark season as you trust God. And who knows, but that many lives may be affected for the kingdom’s sake, because of your difficult season of struggle.
Sometimes the most difficult times we walk through can feel like captivity to our hearts and minds. If you find yourself there today, be assured that God is with you and leading you through. Even if you can’t see how the whole story will unfold, His plans for us are good, He gives hope and purpose. He will turn your struggle around for good.
“The disciples were staggered. “Then who has any chance at all?” Jesus looked hard at them and said, “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.”
Matthew‬ ‭19:25-26‬ ‭MSG‬‬
God has his own way of using our stumbles, struggles, sickness and suffering, as blessing in our life and for many others to know of His power and great love.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this wonderful and worry-less Wednesday!

Grace morning on this thankful and terrific Tuesday.
Are you in a place you never expected to be? Has God taken you on a path you never would have willfully chosen? Take heart. God hasn’t deserted you. He hasn’t forgotten you. He hasn’t made a mistake. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows exactly what you need and where you need to be.
The truth is, God’s plan for your life is always better.
God truly knows what he is doing. He usually takes longer than we would like. He often leads us through strange territory.
Sometimes he defers, or even destroys, our dreams. But God knows exactly what he is doing.
The struggle and key to success is a constant giving up of our plans for God’s plan.
Following God’s plan, will spared you the stress of worrying about things that are outside of your control.
The good news is: God is in the business of changing your plans to His plan, resulting in something much better than you could hope for.
When God changes your plans, look for his blessing of something new and unexpected. While the pain of loss may be very real, God’s grace is sufficient to carry you into his next steps for your life.
“Far better to be right and poor than to be wrong and rich. We plan the way we want to live, but only GOD makes us able to live it.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:8-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬
God is accomplishing more in you and through you than you could ever think or imagine.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this tranquil and triumphant Tuesday!

Grace morning on this meaningful and mercy/filled Monday.
The struggles and trials you suffer are not obstacles and opposition to hinder you from overcoming difficult decisions, but are always an opportunity for God to reveal his power to you.
If you are struggling to believe that God cares for you in the situation that you are in, take joy and remember that Christ has overcome the world. He will help you.
Be mindful that you’re not the only one facing many painful trials in this life. We all are. While you are waiting on him to meet you in our struggle, God is working out a deliberate, divine, plan for your life. You are not forgotten nor are you ever without hope. Have faith and stay in peace knowing that in the eternal plan, it is already worked out.
There are many different details involved in our storms. But our storms are very real to us, nonetheless. Ask God to give the strength to not run from your storms, not to resist them, not to resent them but to look to Him for guidance as to how to walk through them and come out on the other side stronger because you have trusted in God in the midst of your storms.
“Awake now, he told the wind to pipe down and said to the sea, “Quiet! Settle down!” The wind ran out of breath; the sea became smooth as glass."
‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:39-40‬ ‭MSG‬‬
He has made you a victor in all the battles you face.  Stand your ground – the armies of God are with you now.   God will not fail you.
Live, love and laugh your way through this magnificent Monday!

Grace morning on this sufficient and satisfying Saturday.
Struggles in life are inevitable, but destruction is optional.
In the grand scheme of things, a stressful morning doesn’t impact life or eternity all that much, but in those longer seasons of joblessness, sickness, financial stress, marriage strain and other ongoing life events, the stress and frustration can seem overwhelming.
We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can always control how we choose to respond.
Every difficulty in your life, whether big or small, is something God will use to produce more strength, faith and perseverance in you if you let Him! All your pain has a purpose.
Know that God is with you. Even when it feels like you're going through utter darkness. He does not cause these troubles, but He does allow them for a purpose that you may never understand.
If you are struggling with feelings of despair and despondency, because of the dark days which appears to be descending upon your life, take a step of faith to trust God even more than you’ve ever trusted Him before. Be encouraged by the truth that He is always in control and that He desires your best in all circumstances.
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NIV
Though we aren't promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that he won't give us more than we can handle with His help,  and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.
Live, love, and laugh your way through life storm-less Saturday!

Grace morning on this fresh and fantastic Friday.
Th first and most natural things that flood our minds when the alarm goes off do not produce praise or comfort. More often than not, the burdens of the day come rushing in before we can even take a couple breaths — a struggling relationship, financial struggles, decisions, some conflict, meeting schedules, the task list that’s too long for today, the pain you’re feeling, that hurt you can’t seem to shake. And underneath them all, there’s the nagging feeling that we won’t find the strength to make much of a difference about any of it.
If you’re not careful, those first few groggy, heavy minutes can define the rest of your day.
Have you noticed the first few moments after a full night of total, unaware dependence, you immediately wake up and go into independent, self-trust mode.
A mentor once said to me, “Anxiety comes when we look at our circumstances and then look at our ability, but faith comes when we look at our circumstances and then at God’s ability.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 we often quote; God won’t give you more than you can bear. … But wait a minute, that’s not really what the Bible says. It says you won’t be tempted beyond what you can bear.
“Pile your troubles on GOD ’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭55:22-23‬ ‭MSG‬‬
In life, you will go through situations that are more than you can bear alone. It’s only in those times that we realize our full dependency on God.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this fabulous Friday!
